This position is responsible for developing and maintaining emergency operations plans, coordinating resources in disaster situations and acting as liaison between local, state and federal agencies. This employee will be required to work 40 hours per week, which will include one 24-hour shift per week on the Ambulance schedule. Applicants must have or be able to obtain a Kansas Emergency Manager Certificate within two years of employment, possess an AEMT certification or higher, possess a valid Kansas drivers license and be free of felony or serious misdemeanor convictions. This position will pay $30,000 to $35,000 per year depending on experience and education. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
