Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce – 2018 Downtown Design Assistance Program Project

As the primary source of information for visitors to the county, the Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce wanted to improve the exterior of their building to serve as a better reflection on the communities it represents.  The interns met with the chamber board members and staff and developed recommendations that would add character and pride to the building’s simple storefront.

Proposed improvements include:

  • Installing a new historically appropriate door
  • Installing new double-hung windows
  • Repairing and repointing the limestone exterior
  • Painting the door and trim
  • Installing a new sign

The Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce has received grant funding from both the Wind Energy Benefit (WEB) Fund and the Lincoln County Economic Development Foundation to help implement the project.
