The Post Rock Community Foundation (PRCF) is hosting a Strategic Doing meeting on Monday, July 17, 7:00pm, at the Vesper Community Center in order to discuss the big-picture ideas needed to move Lincoln County forward into the future.
“The purpose of the meeting is to promote strategic-doing, a process that brings civic and community leaders together to prioritize and collaborate on ideas that could transform our county. The ideas could include investing in parks, the arts, downtown revitalization, rural housing, entrepreneurship, tourism, economic development or a number of other areas,” said Sandy Labertew, Chair of the PRCF.
The event is being sponsored by the Dane G Hansen Foundation and facilitated by Betty Johnson who specializes in strategic plan development for community organizations. During the meeting, focus groups will be formed to develop action plans that will move the identified priorities forward.
The community at-large is invited, including government officials, business owners, farmers and ranchers, educators, clergy, retired persons, young professionals, volunteers, health officials, stay-at-home parents, and all others who wish to make Lincoln County better for future generations.
“We want individuals from all over the county to participate,” said Labertew. “This is an opportunity for ideas to be heard.”
This event is free and open to the public. Cookies and tea will be provided. If you have questions, please contact Sandy Labertew at 785-526-7412.
