“Artifacts of the Future“, featuring ceramics by Eleanor Heimbaugh opens at the Lincoln Art Center Friday, July 13 from 5:30 – 7:30, with a gallery walk at 6:30. This exhibit runs through August 31, 2018.
Artist and educator Eleanor Heimbaugh earned a BFA at Washburn University in Topeka, KS and an MFA in Ceramics from Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS. Heimbaugh is currently teaching as an assistant professor of Ceramics and Sculpture and is the Director of the Swedish Craft Program at Bethany College, in Lindsborg KS. Her current ceramic work is a pseudoscientific investigation of artifacts, specimens, and fossils, of 21st century American culture. Heimbaugh has presented research and had her work juried into national and international shows.
