NCRPC has helped work on several Heritage Trust Fund Grants throughout our years. Heritage Trust Fund Grants are offered through the Kansas Historical Society. They are an excellent resource for those wanting to make improvements to properties listed on either the National Register of Historic Places or the Register of Historic Kansas Places. Additional information can be found here: https://www.kshs.org/p/heritage-trust-fund/14617

Several historic projects in our region were awarded grant funds last year including…

1. The Woodland Place Stock Farm in Republic County (http://www.republiccountykansas.com/white-rock-area-barn-r…/)

2. The Cummins Block in Lincoln County (https://www.lasr.net/travelstate.php…)

3. Ira E. Lloyd Stock Farm in Ellsworth County

Grant workshops for the 2018 Heritage Trust Fund grant round will be held in various locations during the summer of 2017. Each workshop includes information about applying for a grant and the administration of a grant, should your project be funded. Attendance at one of the workshops is highly recommended for those planning to apply for a Heritage Trust Fund grant in the coming year.
