Communications Officer (911 Dispatcher)

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for Part-Time Communication Officer (911-DISPATCHER).

This position is responsible for responding to incoming telephone calls, answering 911 emergency calls, monitoring and transmitting information via two-way radio to officers and emergency response personnel.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or G.E.D., be free of felony and/or serious misdemeanor conviction, and have the ability to multitask, give attention to detail and have good communications skills, previous experience a plus but not required.
