The Lincoln Area Humane Society (LAHS) began with a few local citizens gathering to discuss their concerns regarding the welfare of animals in the county. Awareness of the LAHS has grown as we continue to spread information about the services we offer.
Mission: To improve the lives of animals and people through education, advocacy and support.
Fundraiser/Volunteer Efforts: The Lincoln Area Humane Society needs volunteers for many tasks including: Foster homes or temporary homes for animals in transition from being lost or left behind, implementing assistance in finding permanent homes, coordinating fundraising events; running errands, educating the community about the Trap, Neuter, Return program and assisting Veterinarian, Dr. Lindsay Mitchell in working with the pet population in the Lincoln area.

How to Donate: Donations, or memorials are appreciated. The LAHS can also accept donations of cat food, dog food, animal crates, leashes, blankets, food bowls, and anything a pet would need or enjoy.
