City of Lincoln Fire Department

The City of Lincoln Fire Department is a team of volunteers that works together with the Lincoln County First Rural Fire Department to respond to all grass and structure fires within the central part of Lincoln county and the City of Lincoln. The rural and city fire departments respond and act as one department. The City of Lincoln Fire Department also provides mutual aid to all structure fires in all the fire departments within the entire county.

The City of Lincoln Fire Department responds with 2 trucks, the pumper truck and an 85′ ladder truck. The 13-man team of volunteers is currently lead by Chief Terry Stertz and Assistant Chief Roger Hayworth. They meet the third Monday of every month to train and maintain equipment. There is currently 1 opening for volunteers.
