According to Lincoln Sentinel publisher John Baetz, the Sentinel's new Live Lincoln County (as in, "I'm proud to live in Lincoln County") project is more than just a website or magazine, it's a marketing plan for the county as a whole.

"We have a way of life that people need to know about," Baetz said. "Lincoln County offers a lifestyle that thousands of people in this country are interested in, but we have to develop a method to let them know about it."

Baetz said in addition to providing a comprehensive directory of everything that is Lincoln county, the website will promote local events, outline incentives for moving to the county and provide a community resource for past and present Lincoln County residents to connect and share ideas on maintaining population in the county.

"I'm excited about the response we've had," Baetz added. "We've had a number of people reaching out to us to ask how they can help. That's just the kind of feedback we need to make sure this project reflects the goals for the county as a whole."
